🥄 Join us in the AGGV’s Spencer Mansion foyer on Saturday, November 23 for A Spoon Full of Sugar, a free durational performance by queer, non-binary performance artist, Holly Timpener. Starting at 10am and anticipated to span approximately 7 hours.

Curated by Dr. Toby Lawrence, AGGV Curator of Contemporary Art, in collaboration with Camosun College Visual Arts Department, A Spoon Full of Sugar is a performance that resists normative spoon-fed ideas and perceptions of gender. In this work, artist Holly Timpener uses time to transform their desire to please others. This performance exhibits an intimate journey of internal transformation and personal discovery, emphasizing the importance of self-acceptance and offering hope to others on a similar journey.

🎤 This performance will be preceded by a free Artist Talk with Holly Timpener on Friday November 22 at Camosun College, Lansdowne Campus.
